Pele F.C. Alumni made a decision to extend the number of scholarships to seven exceeding the original five scholarships originally penned in the agreement with University of Guyana. This pivotal decision will assist two additional students with tuition as they peruse their education at the university. Our diverse list of candidates include four females and three males with an impressive range of curriculums, Biology, Law, Education, Information Technology, Finance and Medicine. One of the candidates, Joel Weeks, participated for two years in our annual Pele F.C. Alumni Youth Development program that includes a workshop for younger students, both females and males that emphasizes the importance of education from a presentation of professionals from all types of industries as well as incorporating the importance of self-care such as good dental hygiene, etiquette, etc. to enhance both academic and life skills.
